About Us

Our Story

Kit Ram Residential is proudly owned and run by Kit Ram, who brings over 30 years of hands-on experience in property management and lettings. He launched his first lettings company 28 years ago—one that quickly became one of Bedford’s fastest-growing and most respected agencies. Along the way, Kit helped many first-time landlords grow into seasoned portfolio investors.

In 2011, following a health scare, Kit made the life-affirming decision to step back, start a family, and reluctantly sold the company he had built.

But the story didn’t end there.

The Return – By Demand

Due to overwhelming demand from former clients—landlords who struggled to find the same level of service they had come to rely on—Kit Ram Residential was born. It was created specifically for experienced landlords who value trust, transparency, and meticulous attention to detail, all delivered with a personal, five-star touch that offers complete peace of mind.

Who We Work With

Today, while we are open to working with new landlords, we remain selective. We choose to work only with properties and clients who share our values and commitment to excellence.

Our Core Focus

Letting Is All We Do

Letting is all we do—and we do it properly. With over 200 pieces of lettings legislation (and more on the way), the process has become increasingly complex. That’s why we dedicate ourselves entirely to this field. It takes time, care, and expertise to get it right.

Independently Run

We are not a chain or a franchise. Everything is handled in-house, including accounts.

Direct Access to Kit

That means when you call, you speak directly to someone who knows your property and your needs. Kit is always contactable—so staff changes will never affect your service. We’re available virtually 24/7.

Trusted Local Maintenance Team

We also work with a trusted team of local maintenance professionals who are on hand to resolve issues promptly—day or night, seven days a week.
